Hello, everyone!
I'm sure you all know by now that Fabiano Neves and myself are doing New York Comic Con this weekend (table E-30 at Artist Alley!) and I asked KrakenPrint for some issue #4 samples to get people excited about it.
They sent over the regular cover and the holofoil chromium Kickstarter edition and you can check some beauty photos taken from NYCC itself:
The books are currently en route from Asia and once again here's the confirmation that ALL YOUR PACKAGES WILL BE SHIPPED STARTING NOVEMBER 5th.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you guys that regardless of the KrakenPrint troubles still pounced on The Few and Cursed #5 Kickstarter. You guys made it our biggest launch ever and I cannot thank you enough!!!

Howdy, folks!
This time I write with good news and good news only. After much deliberation with KrakenPrint and a lot of conflict between us I'm happy to say that books and cards will be on the next boat from Asia on October 1st arriving in Chicago on October 29th.
Yep, it took Kraken 16 weeks to get my order from their vendor in Taiwan but at least they are on the way and I know they will look phenomenal. Once the order arrives in Chicago they will then Fedex Ground it to Florida and I will finally be able to start shipping out your rewards.
SHIPPING WILL BEGIN ON NOVEMBER 5th!
The collectible TFAC cursed coin should look amazing. We're producing it in antiqued brass with an original design by Fabiano Neves and 3D rendering by Firescale Studios (scroll down to check it out!)
Best estimates put the books in Florida around November 1st or 2nd, I will then sign everything and start packaging. Fingers crossed KrakenPrint doesn't change these dates and once again just gives me a big "tough luck, buddy, suck it up."

As always I will keep you all updated but as you can tell from the dates above shipping TFAC #4 will only happen after we've wrapped the Kickstarter for TFAC#5. The Kickstarter for Issue #5 of The Few and Cursed begins OCTOBER 3rd at 10am EST!
That's next Wednesday, my friends, and we will have Early Bird specials, exclusive rewards and limited items up for grabs so make sure to mark your calendars.
This update also marks the big reveal of the KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE COVER by Skybound's Birthright creative team Andrei Bressan & Adriano Lucas!
If we unlock enough stretch goals the above art will be printed in gorgeous chromium foil-stock paper, the book will come with a brand new artwork for the back-cover and maybe serialized number stickers.

I'm also really looking to unlock two more collectible cards for our Signature Series that already has master artists like Nicola Saviero, Lucas Leibholz, ElSevilla, Genzoman and others.

Howdy, backers!
It's been a while since I got in touch with you all but without anything to say best to keep it quiet. I do have news now and there is no easy way of sharing them:
KRAKENPRINT HAS DELAYED YOUR BOOKS BY A MONTH
How the heck did that happen is beyond me and Kraken would not share any details. They just kept saying "a job this complex requires time and the factory refused to rush this".
But considering I sent the print files on July 9th and they were approved on July 16th, it boggles my mind as why would they need to rush the job anyway. (I never send digital copies to Backers until it's all cleared with the printer and everyone then gets the same book - as you all got your digital copies on July 16th, you can see I do not exaggerate).
I worked around their proposed schedule, I did my very best to deliver print-ready files when they asked me to and yet the full order is still in Asia finishing up the printing.
Their latest delivery estimate is the LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER.
Kraken has been a great partner for the past two years always delivering beautifully crafted work but they haven't met a single deadline ever. I've got nothing but praise on the quality of their work but it bums me out they cannot be responsible enough to deliver when they tell me they would.
They ask for 10 weeks of production plus delivery, I gave them 12 weeks and still they need more time...
Needless to say I've terminated my relationship with them starting with the Lost Kids (those that have backed that book will get a more detailed e-mail about it and the impact of the termination on the LK schedule) and will no longer use Kraken for future projects.
I absolutely apologize to all of you that are more than anxious to receive your books. I was supposed to start the shipping process next week but that won't happen until late October now.

That's right, we're back in Red and ready to kick some ass again! As always, I had planned on launching this KS once I was through with the fulfillment of the previous but once again my original plans have been shot to hell.
That will not stop The Few and Cursed.
Fabiano and I continue to produce at a steady pace and printer delays should not mess up our own schedules and yours as readers. We will be hitting New York Comic Con in a couple of weeks and it's the perfect platform to launch what is our most exciting issue yet.
The whole first half of the book is finally the encounter we've all been waiting for, it's Red vs Crow!
I hope you guys will once again trust me to deliver your rewards regardless of any delays and jump on The Few and Cursed #5 on Day One. I will have more details about the Kickstarter campaign closer to our launch date but rest assured this is going to be just as special as the Kickstarter for issue #4...

Hey everyone!
Quick update on production of all the items for The Few and Cursed #4. I got word from KrakenPrint that everything is already in production and (for now) on schedule to arrive around September 24th.
Our original shipping date would be this month in August but with so many stretch goals unlocked and so many new artworks and items to be produced I had to give everyone the proper time to keep the quality to the standard you guys deserve and have received so far.
With that said here's how we are now looking as far as dates:
September 24-27th - books and other items arrive.
September 28, 29, 30th - Final address update reminders
October 4-7th - New York Comic Con where I will have a table at their Artists Alley
October 8th - Address lock down!
October 10th thru 21st - sorting and packaging!
October 22nd - SHIPPING BEGINS!
These are pretty much set in stone unless disaster strikes (printing suffer delays, Fedex loses packages, USPS can't find dates to process so many packages, etc. Believe me, all that has happened before!)
I can promise to be as forthcoming as possible though and keep you all update at all times.
LAST FEW HOURS TO GRAB A COPY OF THE LOST KIDS!! \o/
The Kickstarter ends TODAY at 11pm EST (8pm PST) and this will be the last chance to snag an exclusive hardcover variant edition!
I really would love to get your support behind The Lost Kids: Seeking Samarkand.
I apologize if you are reading this for a second time or even third as I went through previous projects to make sure most of my senior backers knew about this but truth be told this is a graphic novel I'd love to find an excited audience for.
It's a project infused with pretty much everything I loved in entertainment growing up:
Airships, fantasy, magic, coming of age, squabbles, quirky characters, monsters and lots of adventure & action \o/
We've unlocked multiple stretch goals already making this one of the most special releases I've ever published.
We're talking a 128-page graphic novel, full color, gold-foil stamping on the cover, double-sided poster dust-jacket and perhaps even a HOLOFOIL Chromium upgrade if we hit $28K (we're currently $1,572 away)
I cannot wait to release both parts of Seeking Samarkand and then continue working on The Lost Kids as a regular series. And it all starts with YOU and YOUR support, folks.
