I sincerely hope most of you are enjoying a nice meal with family and friends, getting some rest and kicking off the Holiday season with gusto. Since I'm in Brazil right now and we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, I'm hard at work :D
That's why I decided to share the latest entry into The Few and Cursed universe: SHADOW NATION!
Two different covers and two different formats - come check it out :)
This is a brand new and complete story set in the same universe although taking place in a far different location than Red's hunt for the Crows of Mana'Olana.
We kick off the story in the ruins of Washington DC where a postwoman named LaVerne gets a mysterious and cursed package to be delivered on the front line of the Texas-Comanche War. What happens next is a powerful and emotional journey where we really get to watch what mankind is capable of.
With a touch of the supernatural of course, it wouldn't be a Few and Cursed book without it.
If you haven't had a chance to check out Shadow Nation consider yourself officially invited. I'm writing the script and joined by artists Rui Silveira and Téo Gonzales in what is easily one of the most ambitious graphic novels I've worked on.
We funded on day 1 in about 10hrs and we've been unlocking exciting content through our Stretch Goals. In fact we're pretty close to unlocking another one and perhaps your pledge can get us closer.

Howdy, folks!
I'm stoked to announce the latest and ending chapter in The Few and Cursed saga is less than a dozen backers from becoming my own most backed Kickstarter ever!!! \o/
And that means a LOT of Stretch Goals and that's no exaggeration, so far we've unlocked FOURTEEN (14!!)Stretch Goals already and we're working towards a SLIPCASE to hold all six Crows issues on your bookshelf with brand new exclusive art:
Every pledge towards a physical reward sent in the mail will be loaded with extras going from multiple collectible cards to bookmarks, another coin, ashcan edition, exclusive artwork for both the regular and KS editions, we've really been performing overwhelmingly well!!
And as promised here's some exciting art that has been produced so far for Issue #6:
WIP - Clonerh's brand new art for The Few and Cursed! He's still finishing it up but look how gorgeous it looks already!
One of my best friends from high school is a pretty accomplished artist himself and he did gorgeous animated style Redhead! Art by Felipe Assis with colors by Wesllei Manoel \o/
I really could not be more thankful to all the backers that already jumped on this, I mean it, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! How about those that haven't joined yet help us go even further?

I've been wanting to do a Chronicles collection of cards for a while now and I think this might be the perfect opportunity for it.

This is the LAST CALL for Chronicles backers to get The Few and Cursed Board Game with every add-on and extra we've unlocked through Stretch Goals in what has been our most successful Kickstarter to date!
I can't stress enough how rewarding it's been to see a board game based on the comics, it's just so cool and Mike did a fantastic job translating the lore into a playable experience.
I sincerely hope to find many among you that would love to experience The Few and Cursed in a more interactive way =D

What a phenomenal month to be a The Few and Cursed fan!! We're currently LIVE on Kickstarter with two different campaigns - one for the Board Game and another for Issue #6 our Season Finale!
The Board Game just hit over 1.000 backers and we just got word we've been picked by Kickstarter as a "Project We Love"!!!
This means we will get a lot more exposure, hopefully a lot more backers and unlock a lot more extra content! Mike Gnade and I have been tirelessly working on a number of exciting Stretch Goals and we cannot wait to share them with you!
If you haven't come check out the game yet I really urge you to. It's a phenomenal experience that puts players right into the wastelands of the Pacific Ocean chasing curses, monsters and powerful artifacts \o/
The Few and Cursed is a deck-builder board game with over 150 exclusively commissioned artworks by some of the most talented artists that have ever done pieces for the comics.
The pieces itself are cover quality and we even collected them in a hardcover and limited edition ART BOOK! It's a really can't miss experience =)
And if you are not that much into board games but wants the art book anyway, not a problem. Be sure to pledge a single $1 and pick the "Pledge Manager Access" tier that way you'll be able to purchase the art book only at a later date.
You guys have gotten at least as far as Part 4 of 6 of the Crows story. It's time to go all the way to the end with it and believe me you'll be nicely surprised. We have a lot of twists and turns on issues #5 and #6 and the ending is like nothing you expect!
The Kickstarter for Issue #6 has been a tremendous success by now with over 900 backers in less than two weeks. We still have three more weeks to go, it's exciting to think how much more content we can unlock given we've already unlocked an extra print of the book, collectible cards, fridge magnet and more!!
We're already less than $1K of unlocking Phase II's first Stretch Goal and as soon as we hit 1.000 backers I'll launch a pretty exciting new Social Goal!
We even have a good shot at unlocking a HARDCOVER SLIPCASE to hold and collect all six The Few and Cursed issue plus Chronicles with brand new art to go along with it. How about helping us get that far?
So come on over to Issue #6 Kickstarter, pick your cover and let's continue to hit those Stretch Goals \o/

I'm thrilled to announce our Season Finale issue launches tomorrow morning on Kickstarter and we're really looking forward to your pledge on Day 1 \o/
If you are planning on sticking with us 'til the end and cannot wait to see what happens to The Crows of Mana'Olana then please consider backing as early as possible - it helps tremendously to get a lot of early pledges.
